Welcome to the Unwrinkling Roundup.
I’m Whitney Bauck, a freelance journalist who covers climate change and environmental issues with a focus on solutions. I’m particularly interested in how our warming world impacts and is impacted by what we eat, how we get around, what we waste, and how we human beings make meaning. I’m also kind of obsessed with fungi and how they intersect with all of the above.
My work shows up all over the place—I’m a regular contributor at the Guardian and I edit the print magazine at Atmos, but I’ve also contributed to the New York Times, Washington Post, the Financial Times, Bloomberg, New York Magazine, Slate, Grist, MIT Tech Review, Rappler, Vogue Philippines, and more.
Signing up for this newsletter is the best way to stay up to date with my work, no matter where it’s published. Thanks for being here.
